In order to get the most sample water from some wells, the HydraSleeve needs to be compressed in the bottom of the well. This is typically necessary when the screened interval is short and/or the column of water in the screen is short.

Here's the top weight for our 4-inch HydraSleeve.
All top weights should be used in conjunction with a bottom weight.
A top-weighted 4-inch x 2-liter HydraSleeve can collect ~2.5 liters (max volume 3.1 liters) of sample volume from a 4-foot water column.
This top weight for 4-inch HydraSleeves weighs 24 ounces. It is 6 inches long and 3.5 inches in diameter. These are reusable and are made entirely of PVC. Please note, the PVC weight works in 4-inch wells, it will not work in a 2-inch well. Each top weight will come with the appropriate spring clip for attaching to the HydraSleeve.
