HydraSleeve Selection Sheet - January 2019

The chart below is to help you select the best HydraSleeve size and configuration for your particular sampling requirements.

No-purge sampling is limited to collecting the water from inside the well screen under ambient conditions. Water from the well casing is not formation (sample) quality. Before ordering you need to determine the following:

1. Required sample volume - Remember, most laboratories ask for more than they need.

2. Well inside diameter - The larger the internal diameter of the screen the greater the available sample volume.

3. The length of the water column in the well screen - a 40-foot deep well with a 10-foot well screen and a 20-foot column of water in the well means the 10-foot screen defines the amount of water available for sample collection. If the same well has 5 feet of water in the screen, this means there is only 5 feet of available fluid for no-purge sampling.
