Description
Two-piece 35-ounce top weight for use with the 1-liter, 1.5-liter and 2-liter HydraSleeve TS. Top section is PVC and the bottom is stainless.
They thread together holding the SkinnySleeve in place. This is a reusable item. Includes spring clip for attaching tether line. Should be used in conjunction with a small bottom weight when deploying the SuperSleeves.
The purpose of a top weight is to compress the HydraSleeve into the bottom of the well for short saturated screen lengths.

Please leave a minimum of 3.5 to 5.5 feet slack in the tether line to allow the SkinnySleeve to compress into the bottom of the well. This depends on the length of your sampler: 3.5 feet for the 1-liter; 4.5 feet for the 1.5-liter; and, 5.5 feet for the 2-liter SkinnySleeve. A minimum of 48 hours should be allowed for equilibration and compression time when using SkinnySleeves.
