New Spring Clip Instructions

Introducing the improved Spring Clip Instruction Sheet.

These handy clips have been popular for several years as an accessory to the 2-inch HydraSleeves.  We are now expanding the line to include a larger version for the 4-inch HydraSleeves.

With a change in design comes a change in the instruction sheet.

Please download a copy of the new Sring Clip Instruction Sheet by clicking here.

PLEASE NOTE:  SPRING CLIPS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR WIREWRAP WELL SCREEN, OR IF THERE ARE OBSTRUCTIONS OR ROUGH EDGES IN THE WELL.

Follow Us On Facebook!

It appears that marketing has another popular internet outlet in Facebook.  We would like to keep our friends and customers informed in a more timely manner using Facebook.  Current events, news, and commonly used tips and tricks for our products will be posted there.  We will also have occassional promotions for Facebook followers only; so, please get involved and help us keep you informed by following the link above and liking our Facebook page.

A perfect example for following our Facebook page:  Our Facebook friends knew that on February 2nd and 3rd we were closed because of bad weather.   A snowstorm with sub-zero temperatures proved to be too much for our typically sunshiney southwest location.  Without this Facebook avenue we would not have been able to spread the word so quickly.

San Diego Environmental Field Conference

The 2011 North American Environmental Field Conference and Exposition was held in San Diego in January.  We are proud to have participated for the fifth straight year. GeoInsight hosted a booth and Kent Cordry presented several talks and workshops in addition to moderating one of the sessions.

For those of you who missed Kent at our booth, we hope you enjoyed our self-serve information center.  Our presentations at these conferences takes Kent away from our booth several times a day.  In keeping up with technology, we have invested in a touch-screen video information system which we hope will catch on for future shows.

Much can be learned from our self-serve information system.  Everything from a basic introduction of the HydraSleeve to detailed assembly information is available.  Simply choose the information which interests you by touching the screen and a short, informative video will play.  All of these videos are also available online at www.hydrasleeve.com

We hope to see you at future events.

HydraClamp

THE HYDRACLAMP

These 5-1/2 inch water-tight clamps could be just the tool you need for decanting multiple samples from one recovered HydraSleeve.  The clamp can be used to seal the top of the HydraSleeve when you need to change vials.  When the clamp is in place you can even lay the HydraSleeve on it's side without spilling and without risking the integrity of your sample.

Each HydraClamp consists of two pieces: a clamp and a sealing rod.  The HydraSleeve is placed between the two so that the sleeve will be pulled into the concave section of the clamp.  The rod is snapped into the clamp, forcing the HydraSleeve inside the clamp and forming a water-tight seal.

This can make decanting the sample easier by clamping the sleeve shut between containers, or sealing the sampler for later use after a sample for VOC's has been decanted.  For just $5.00 each, your sampling event can be made even simpler with these HydraClamps.
